Alot of people don’t understand the point of this game. Sure the story is a little lacking but it’s always been that way in the history of the games lineup. The first monster hunter was the same. The true point of the game is the hunt and thrill of victory and grinding out all the weapons and armor you want. Playing with friends will make it much much more enjoyable but it’s not needed. With that said this game is not for everyone. The fights can be long and the rewards small. But that’s the nature of monster hunter. “Luck” getting the needed items for each craft you build. Much like Diablo the games store is ok and short. But the true game lies in the grinding. With all that said I have enjoyed every installment of the monster hunter line up. All have been played for 100s of house solo and with friends. A true gem of a game.
