Kensho Moments (TunaDumpling)

As always there's some class A acting from the cast. The movie however did take a turn after the mysterious guy with the glasses showed up. The story in itself is weak due to the unexpectedly bad ending. The ending was a major disappointment in that it leaves the viewers with a sense of pointlessness. It's very much akin to robbery/heist movies that end up with the protagonists (who are usually wear honor like Robin Hood,) giving everything back after some elaborate and magnificently executed plan just to teach the audience in some didactic manner, that 'crime doesn't pay.' Bottom line is, the story was quite a major flaw. The casts talents could have been put to better use elsewhere.

This was actually a very entertaining movie that will get you guessing. ****Spoiler Alert**** The time loop was simply a simulation. Each simulation began with slightly different parameters which would run a series of iterative 'replays'. All the iterative replays would eventually converge to approximately the same ending - with the girl desperately fighting off the drone and the guy desperately trying to record a message for future simulations. The outcome of each simulation is destined to be about the same. The love that the guy and the girl has for one another dictates that they would never destroy the machine which in turn will lead to an endless loop. In the very last scene it's the girl that woke up first. This was the variation in the simulation that would eventually lead to the same but slightly different ending (evidence is given for this when the guy notices that the way the glass shatters in a slightly different way than from in the previous recorded videos but, at the same time the drone was breaking through the door and shooting at them)
