Best movie in the last 15 years. Adam Sandler, Julia Fox, Lakeith Stanfield, and especially Kevin Garnett (in his first major acting role) were transcendent. This movie is a rollercoaster of emotion from start to finish. Incredible look at the Jewel district, and the perils that come with high stakes gambling, and general bad decision making/ risk. You will not like this movie you don't like basketball, gambling, or money. Thrill ride, where you are rooting for a guy who continually puts himself in bad situations by taking, what he views as necessary risk, for the big win. 10/10 - Garnett was awesome, tremendous presence. Fox truly inspires emotion, and Stanfield has you on the edge of your seat the entire movie. Mike Francesca as the Bookie is just an added treat to an already star studded cast. Do yourself a favor and 2 hours and 15 minutes out of your life, and watch another Safdie Bothers Classic (see the movie 'good time' w/ Robert Pattinson if you have not yet).
