One of the most amazing movies of this year!! As a person who grew up with Disney movies and watched Mulan multiple times, I was skeptical when I heard they took Mushu, Cri-Kee and grandmother Fa out, and they were not making this a musical, but their decision was made right by this movie. They took inspiration from the movie and created something new that was awe-inspiring. I got goosebumps throughout the entire third act. There's nothing I'd suggest to change in this movie. The new changes are delightful. A well directed movie with an equally talented cast creates wonders like this. I'm a sucker for women empowerment movies, so this was a treat for me. The cameo by Ming-Na Wen was everything! I initially thought that Disney was going bonkers when they introduced the notion to rent this movie at $30, but I feel that this movie is priced reasonably. This would have easily hit the 1 billion mark had it been released in theatres. The soundtrack is awesome, special mention to Christina Aguilera. Liu Yifei's reflection is beautiful. Overall, an amazing experience, enjoyed every aspect of this movie. Definitely a movie on my re-watch list. Glad that Disney did this one perfectly, as they have a reputation of creating live actions that are a total mess. This is now my second favorite live action after Aladdin.
