Started out strong for me, but my interest was dwindling in episode 7. It's pace just became very sluggish. Also, a bit bothered by high school student characters who look like they're 28-30 years old, especially the cheerleader actress.

As usual a great and entertaining Butler movie. Although I missed Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman fills the bill nicely as The President. In fact, I would have liked to have seen more of him. I have seen the movie 3 times now, and each time I felt one person was in a miscast role. That was Jada Pinkett Smith. I have enjoyed her in many films and loved her in "Girls Trip" but acting in the capacity of a Secref Service Agent simply wasn't believable. Mostly because as good as an actress as she is, it wasn't enough to overcome her petite size. There is a height limit and there is no way Jada was tall enough to meet those requirements. So it was a stretch to make her believable in that part. Just sayin 🤷

I am amazed this show was picked up for a second season. The best part of this show was the supporting cast...the seniors were/are amazing. But REALLY, I can't believe second season opens by having killed off Bernie Kopell's character. WHAT KIND OF CREEP KILLS OFF (DOC FROM THE "LOVE BOAT", OR THE BAD RUSSIAN FROM "GET SMART", NEIGHBOR OF "THAT GIRL", AND THE OLD SEX-CRAZED APOTHECARY IN "BEWITCHED"!!! Does the casting director not know anything about television icons!!! The problem with this show lies in the two main leads and their total lack of charisma, especially the guy needing the transplant. So he got his transplant... let him move on and off the show.
