Another triumph from Florence. A superbly told tale of older men controlling women and girls. An era where self harm was praised, as indeed it is now for different reasons. I couldn't help but compare the reverence of sainthood to the social media juice faster with the millions of followers. The patriarchy exploits girls for money, for power and for the sake of ego. I took a lot from this film. The DOP is outstanding and the music was a language of its own. Outstanding and will stay with me.

The show we need. More relevant than ever in 2020. Outstanding casting and writing.
