For some reason I am addicted to Turkish soap operas. I am not Turkish but I find the characters extremely appealing I love the suspense the intrigue the backstabbing high society life and the schemes that go on on a daily basis. Resurrection is incredible and riveting. The historical aspects are very vivid and a good portrait of the “evils” of the Crusades and the Templar’s. Casting is well done costumes are beautiful . At times it seems to drag a bit however the history is amazing the costuming is done very well and I am in love with the characters. Can’t wait to see what happens at some of the villains. Right now I’m wondering who will end up with Ertrugul. Will he stick to the traditions of the tribe and it’s customs or will he end up with Halima. It is a little bit silly but it’s ok when one Alp can’ take on 20 Crusaders while he is hindered by heavy capes thick stiff armor long robes etc. It doesn’t really matter I love the show and I can’t wait to watch it tonight I’m getting very little sleep these days.
