This book 'The Shadow Runner ' enthralled me from the very first page to the last. It never slowed down. It gave an insight to the rigorous training that the GCs undergo in IMA moulding them into fine officers, how they survived every hurdle and how they developed the buddy feeling to never let down fellow GCs. The indomitable spirit of Govind and how he made Virender to complete his training is worth reading. And the effort of DIs and Ustaads in shaping the future officers of Indian Army is really something to go through the book.
