It was mediocre at best. I think they were going for a certain level of "realism" in this story, but they missed the mark a little. There were events/actions that just didn't make sense to me. Cutting the power, staying in the house so long, etc. I'll watch it again at some point to make sure I didn't miss some details that made it all cohesive. Also, feels like some things were added JUST for the sake of the disturbing value. Snake scene, porno scene, etc. Under the blanket idea that Emelie is just "cracked" we're supposed to disregard stuff as her being crazy.

To the weakling who now supposedly requires therapy, the avid lover of gerbils, the one who would brutally murder a human with a metal box, lol, just so you know, that was a hamster in that scene. I would have thought an AVID LOVER of gerbils would know what a gerbil looks like.
