“Shohorer Ushnotome Din E”was a pleasant surprise. The movie’s beautiful portrayal of love, growth, and the inner conflict of a woman striving to exceed her limits- considering her own abilities and the section of society she belonged to, were not on a scale that we consider “gifted” Director Aritra Sen did a commendable job, the script is honest and real and sets it apart with its simplicity!! P.S. watch it till the end, because reality is sometimes dull!!

"Guns and Gulaabs" is a retro retreat that captures a deliberate and skillful pace. The Director-duo, Raj & DK were impeccable in bringing out a narrative that is quirky and engaging. A standout moment is when Babu Tiger takes a fag and the 'Dhuyan' emerges from his slit throat, a true display of finesse in the Neo-noir style. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect, encompassing editing, casting, dialogues, cinematography, and acting – I did not want to miss even the credits. To put it simply, I loved every element of this series. The content spans from spectral entities to a youthful mafia, offering a diverse range of themes. This series is not everyone’s cup of tea, but as they- to each their own!!
