Slow burn but faster paced than The Witch. Worth a watch if you're into the genre but if you want something more fast paced, move along. Still. the cinematography is beautifully orchestrated and atmospherically well crafted.

If you're a fan of late 80's early 90's practical effects horror, then this one is for you. How could you NOT love a cult classic such as this? The characters are sympathetic and each deserve their own story.

Seriously disgusting & awesome body horror film. If you're a fan of the genre, check it out. I loved the transformation taking place. The plot was less than important. It's the effects that got me revoltingly excited.

This is the best sci-fi drama I've seen all year. Yes, the Pandemic had me in close relationship with movies and I've seen a lot of them. But few measure up to this memorable film. Jason Segel has proven himself to be more than just a comedic/romantic actor. His performance and the plot of this movie were beautifully orchestrated. I would even watch it multiple times just to experience it again and again.

One of the best horror movies I've ever experienced! From the setting, to the scenes, the concept, the acting, and the gore, all of this is incredibly impacting. Memories of this movie still bring me feelings of my flesh slowly being torn off. Enjoy :)

Still burned into my memory is the disturbing image of this puppet. Possom is a slow-burn, atmospheric horror that will leave you feeling terribly uncomfortable. I grieved & cried deeply after this movie; 2 weeks later, I am now having nightmares. Watch it if you are a fan of the genre & reveal in extremely weird stuff. Not only is it masterful in its visual presentation, but it's deeply felt through its symbolism. Listen closely.

The trailers are purposely misleading. They don't give you the full scope of what the plot really is.... and I appreciate that because this movie was surprisingly well made. At first, you might be lead to believe that it's just another romantic drama, which I suppose it could be classified as, but I found myself leaning towards suspense in the last 40 minutes. It's more of a mystery-thriller with a bit of romance. The character traits are expressed through their actions, the scenes are beautifully shot, and the atmosphere of the time period is deeply enthralling.

This guy is a CREEP. I'll never think of Paramedics the same way again! No but really, if you're into movies about obsession and possessive relationships, this one is for you. Seems like someone took their worst nightmare and made it into a movie. It's originally in Spanish but the dubbed voices are really well done.
