Shershaah is a wonderful movie. I initially felt that it would be terrible, but it is a masterpiece. Unlike most films, the protagonist doesn't keep screaming that he is patriotic, rather it is clearly visible in his actions. And also, Capt. Batra is not portrayed as a Demi God, instead, he is shown as a simple soldier with his own weaknesses. The movie is very well-researched, and too much masala is not added to it.
The acting of all the actors were very good, especially Siddharth Malhotra. I always thought that he was a bad actor, but he has lived the character in this film. Kiara Advani manages to create an impact despite having a small screen time. The other actors did a wonderful job as well.
The direction is wonderful, and one of the many things I liked about this film is the fact that they gave a tribute to all the Maha Vir Chakra and Param Vir Chakra awardees. Real-life clips are also added in the film, which makes it more interesting.
The film has a melodious album with beautiful songs.
However, the overly steamy romantic scenes were too uncomfortable to watch and were very unnecessary.
