I found this movie a film of 2 very different halves, the first being rather MCU generic and slow with pacing issues and choppy editing, when the movie eventually warms up with the introduction of the excellent Lasanya Lynch as Carol Danvers long lost friend, the film improves dramatically. Brie Larson is more than adequate in the role and Samuel Jackson and Ben Mendalson excellent. I'm not sure Die hard MCU fans will like the Iron Man 3 twist in the last act of the movie and once again Marvel has another poor vilain. Film of 2 halves, 5/10 for the first half and 8/10 for the second so 6.5/10 overall!

Without question, my favourite big screen movie of 2018. I have seen it twice, the first time in 2D were there was some minor issues, distorted muffled Sound when the characters spoke underwater and choppy editing, however I still loved the wonder and spectacle of the film. On Wednesday I watched it for the second time, but this time in Imax 3D with Atmos Sound. Imagine my suprise, firstly the underwater dialogue was crystal clear, the 3D visual just popped on screen and the editing was smooth. I love this film so much , go watch it now!
