A wonderful film which serves the dual purpose of reminding the humanity of the unforgivable atrocities inflicted upon Armenian people by the Turks and the hazards concomitant to being stuck in the past. It's a story of a couple, Angela and her husband. Her husband is stuck in the past, with the pain bore by his ancestors and conditions his wife to feel the same way, through the device of memories of their son's death. The ending is dramatic, with Angela going her way to the future with her coactor while her husband walks away into the past, as the last scene shows, among his ancestors being killed, raped and herded away in Anatolia, their own homeland
