So I was waiting for about 2-3 months for this one to come out. Maybe the high expectations of the alien franchise, not sure. But saw it last night and wasn’t really impressed with it. When I saw Ridley Scott coupled with Walter hill (in which I didn’t know were part of the producer team) I thought, this should be good!! Ah, no, I was disappointed. There were times where the herd of little aliens came after them when they were running to get away. There were other parts of the movie that was good too but overall, I could have waited and watched it at home. Don’t get me wrong, I AM a true die hard Alien fan and will always be but I think if they make another one, I’ll watch that one at home. My rating from A-F is a C+. Reason being: it had a mix of old alien movies and when you see it you’ll know what I mean. Original android- from first Alien Ripley(Sigourney Weaver) line - get away from her you b*****, so yeah things like that. When seeing this I think that they were trying to find a connection so audiences can say oh I remember that or maybe get a laugh or two. Yeah that worked but all in all it was ok.
