Very impactful singing and easily an emotional intriguing movie. Should’ve just been called a musical though. The pacing and transition from many scene gave a musical vibe as when real acting was happening there was a quick change to a different scene. I feel this movie can’t be compared to the original Color Purple as this musical stands on a high bar of its own as the original does. The musical reached different emotions than the original, and the original reached a certain depth with the duration of the more drastic scenes. I know it was a lot of singing but I took in every singing scene with its old school mixed with some viral dance moves also. I also took in the aesthetics of the environment the song was sung in, like the waterfall and the swamp! Overall great movie and worth seeing in the theater. Many ones who rate this movie a low score haven’t seen the original, cause they’re really critiquing things that were first in the original movie.

Very Entertaining and not prolonged like many other train movies, Lots of action surprisingly also for a train movie! Would definitely watch a possible sequel!

Great Movie for ALL AGES, it’s is majority a kids movie due to the jokes and predictable ending plot, it all matters about how u tell the story and the movie did a great job of bringing emotion and laughter throughout the movie, having old NBA Memes and popular Rap battle moments, Denzel Washington memes put into the movie. U can tell they put time into the movie!

It was kind of hyped too much to be a blockbuster, but it will be a memorable movie. If it wasn’t advertised to be as great as the first Coming To America, I think people would’ve liked it even more!

A scary, suspenseful, and tear jerking movie
