Sure the book has some criticisms, but Hall wrote this in his 20's no less and compiled what is still among the most accessible and complete encyclopedic outlines of mystical knowledge and symbolism. That is worthy of five stars and if you disagree you are wrong.

Felt like I had discovered something extraordinary, however on repeat listens and new albums, they tend to stick to the bounds of what they are doing well and miss opportunities for further experimentation. Unfortunately Clann dip into safe waters a little too often, and their current offerings are liable to oversaturate the listener. Talented and once fresh, I'd like to see the writing and production going in new directions.

It's a very good read - however, in somewhat different times I think it meant more for Goethe to write than for a stranger to read.

A little bit hard to decipher - but it seems it is 'as good as they say'.

A seriously solid work in contemporary songwriting. A beautiful, unique voice, savagely bleak lyrics, and great clean but atmospheric production generally. It would be a challenge for any with taste or a heart to listen to Flower Face and not feel or think anything and even be a bit carried away. A true heart maker and breaker, albums like this just don't come about like watered roses.. This is something else, like a long-forgotten weed. Take a moment from your troubles and feel like Raphael.

Much of the music being compiled into each piece under the watchful eye or ears of his son are in a way a passing of the torch to light the candles of anyone listening. I enjoyed it as much, if not more in some parts than 'You Want It Darker' - it seems more of an ode to life than its alternative, quite ironically. It is beautiful but sad of course.
