A great show for the younger audience & any Transformers fan. The art style is something new, but works well, & we get to learn a lot about Cybertronian culture & stories, although adding humans alongside would have been nice so new viewers can understand them, however Bumblebee losing his memory is works fine.
But just like any show, there are flaws, & in this series I find it particularly noticable. (Some of these may include spoilers, so read to your own will.)
- Many fans were disappointed to hear that Peter Cullen & Frank Welker were not voicing Optimus & Megatron. I, personally, am fine with different voices, like in Animated, but this time the characters sounded unnatural & forced and gunpoint. Especially Cheetor.
-There is an awful lot in the plot that isn't explained, or told about much later, which is annoying. This can be from the short length of the episodes (10mins).
-Speaking of time duration, the fast pace makes it hard to feel any strong emotion for a while or have any kind of struggle for the characters to overcome something. Everything is solved too easily, like the Autobots saying "Autobots unite!" and the world is happy, and the same for the Decepticons after Megatron gets a Matrix of Leadership (which we don't find out how).
-This is a smaller point, but the show was renamed to Bumblebee's adventures just for Season 3 which was pretty unecessary, since Bee is barely the main character for that Season anymore. It begins with Hotrod being the protagonist for a while before coming to Bee.
Regardless, if you want to watch the show, go ahead, I'd recommend it, however don't expect something mind-blowing for ya.
