There are many legal dramas much more famous than this one, so why choose this one? To begin with there are lots of legal dramas series that showcase the interesting trials and the research done behind them. The arguments depicted, how the lawyers counter each other etc. are the USPs of such series. However, this drama deals with the complications, dilemmas and the moral conflicts that the tribunal of judges face prior to giving judgements. Another thing that makes this series a must watch is that it's a true story based on an event which holds immense historical significance and in some ways still shaping our geopolitical situations. But the praiseworthy fact about this series is that it completely holds its unbiased views which few true stories are able to accompalish while showcasing some political events. Even the choice of the main character through which the series propagates is exceptional in some ways. For example, often times the protagonist (or the primary character) in a series is shown to have superior morality, adheres to the ethics and has firm decisions or he holds a completely different p.o.v from everyone and often finds himself at odds against everyone. This series has characters holding both types of personalities, however the protagonist in this one (one of the judges) doesn't falls in either categories and often finds himself in conundrums through most of the series which actually happens to most of us. We can clearly see his character oscillating from one decision to another like the situations we commonly face in our lives. It also shows what is right for us can be wrong for others and how various different viewpoints are involved behind every single decision. In a subliminal way it also points out how the birds of the same feather actually flock together and different viewpoints can lead to clashes with some serious outcomes. The show deals with the frailties of our morality and depicts how every individual has a different angle and opinion on the same matter and how we actually have to collaborate our conceptions through arguments and logic to finally get the bigger picture. It's a must watch series and kudos to the whole team for doing an excellent work.

Wanted to give 3.5. If you are in for some jump scares, check out some other movies. Jump scares are always a byproduct of horror, The plot and its execution are more important to me. I checked it out because folk horror always appeals to me. The movie was overall good. The acting was decent, the direction was cogent (almost no jump scares but some of the scenes were really well executed) and the pace of the movie was perfect according to me. It wasn't a slow burner nor a fast-paced thriller horror. It was a movie you can enjoy on your weekend. It's my personal choice not to give away anything substantial about the plot in reviews but the story was good. Nothing out of the box though. However, the movie successfully keeps you engaged for its entire runtime. Let's just say it was a lite version of Hereditary. I enjoyed it. One-time watch.

Some movies are good, some are exceptionally good and some set an example and a milestone for the upcoming movies. This film falls in the last category. Having all the elements of a crime thriller cum detective movies, this film goes beyond it. I won't give anything about the plot but it's a gripping one. The director simply nailed it on this one. The film creates a noir kind of feeling intermingled with surrealism sometimes. The choice of bgm and themes that play in the song are par excellence. The acting, flawless. This movie immerses you completely in itself, lingers in mind for a long time after watching. This one is an artistic masterpiece in itself. The fact that Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 64% by their 'critics' is beyond my understanding. It even negates my opinion about rotten tomatoes sometimes, which I generally consider. I'm an avid movie watcher and without being egotistic or arrogant, I think I have the prerogative to say that Rotten tomatoes was completely wrong on this one. A must watch for all who enjoys good movies.
