Just saw this movie in a real movie theater last night and thought it was wonderful. Jennifer Hudson really embodied this great American singer and was just mesmerizing. I read somewhere that Aretha herself chose Jennifer as the singer/actress she wanted to portray her. She absolutely got it right. I hope Hudson wins the Oscar for this tour de force. She deserved it and the rest of the cast is excellent as well. Don't miss it!
