The wildest trip.
Trance is not everyones cup of tea. The film is eccentric, bizzare and goes from zero to hundred in a matter of minutes. This film is not for the faint hearted or for the average jeo. The cinematography, bgm, pacing, acting and editing of the film are leagues and bounds apart when you compare it with an ordinary malayalam film. You'll love it if you immerse yourself into the movie; if you try to see things from the characters perspective.
The film deals with a lot of touchy subjects like drugs and religion. The cinematography is EXCEPTIONAL, so is the BGM. Fahad's acting is perfect for the role, he is eccentric, crazy and acts with his eyes. He was tailor made for this role. The theme of the movie is unheard of in the malayalam industry and very controversial. A lot of religious fanatics are attacking the film due to its theme. This movie is epic, an experience like never before, however it is not for everyone, it is not a family movie, it has no comedy or any of the usual stuff. You have to immerse yourself in the movie to get it completely. Youre more likely to love the if you have an artistic side, if youre open to experimental movies.
Films like these comes around once every couple of years. If you dont give it a chance its your loss.
