Mary Davis

I started watching this show the other day, and I'm riveted by it. I know that the black community has had it hard from eons ago, and while watching it (and also when I watched Roots) I've cried my eyes out for the injustices they went and do go through. The hardest scene so far was watching what happened to Lucky and Chester in No. Carolina. So horrible, disgusting, and heart breaking. I can only imagine the horrors the black people went through years ago...and probably do still go through in the south. This show's hard truths hopefully will change people's behavior for the better.
