I really enjoyed this show. The story was very original and creative, I was not disappointed. I watched it because I heard it was written by the same person who worked on the "W" series, which I also liked a lot. I am not too much into love stories but the romance in Memories of l'Alhambra is understated, it is not the main focus of the story. It's a sci-fi/fantasy drama with a touch of romance.

I think critics forgot that this film is a celebration of Queen's music for the fans and those who did not get a chance to know the band because they are too young. In this regards, it's a winner. I left the theatre feeling very emotional, and I recommend to see this film at the theatre for the experience. The last 20mn represent the closest you will ever get to a Queen's concert and just for that it was worth my money.
