Good film. A good watch. I just feel with my knowledge of MMA and fighting that the teacher dude (didn’t really pay attention to names) definitely should not have won what so ever. Multiple times during the 3 or 4 fights we see him in at the tournament. Even if he somehow surpassed those fights Tommy was pounding too much meaning the ref would have stopped the match in favour of Tommy a few times. But most importantly the fight against koba was a joke first round his hits didn’t faze koba and he was being thrown around constantly smthn a man couldn’t get out of conscious. Then he gets a pep talk and bam he can now take the guy to the floor. Another thing that’s a bit far fetched is the weight class. Now we never know their wights but the difference between the teacher and koba even a toddler could see a huge difference is size meaning different weight.
