This movie seemed to go well and the writer, director thought to add up a masala element just to bring that OMG moment. A person who is completely family oriented and till the end living for his family, someone who supported his child when she was molested, randomly just rapes an already raped girl. Atleast once if the person was shown with something negative in him, the ending would have made sense. The movie is good, conveys a message, but the ending seemed absolutely abrupt and looked super strange.

So, watched Darlings and liked the first half. The portrayal of an Abusive husband trying to show his best behaviour once the nasha is down was portrayed so well. However, the second half seemed to have been dragged. The revenge sequence could have been more realistic but yeah still a good way to torture someone the same way. Roshan's character was sweet and innocent. He played it well. Shefali Shah, as usual, mind-blowing. Her eyes conveyed everything. Vijay Verma is too good as the abusive husband that even when he got to know of his wife becoming pregnant, I thought he'd start an affair and beat her up for becoming pregnant. He was so realistic! Alia Bhatt acted well but her revenge still had a tinge of affection towards the husband. Overall: The movie definitely is a once a watch type.

Saw the movie. It definitely was gripping. But once the Interrogation in the room started, there was too much of a stretch. Some twists seemed to be unnecessarily fitted in. The so called murder could have been shown as something well planned considering the flaws in each character and each of them trying to hide either an affair or a crime or something humiliating etc. The end just seemed like the audience was left wondering what just actually happened. Pros: Lalettan Lalettan Lalettan. Cons: The unnecessary stretch. Good movie halfway through, one time watch but not very convincing.

The movie has a good message. Accepting all types of love should be promoted. Which has been done. However, the way it has been directed/showcased made it really boring. Gays, Lesbian, Bi everything should be normalised just like a man-lady relationship. That's okay. But this movie had nothing worth remembering. Just for a baby, the whole movie was wasted. When babies are small, they are cute, but as they grow the parents definitely have to struggle. This character Sumi(Bhumi) was upset because her ex girlfriend's husband took away the baby who she was really attached to. Post which she suddenly decides to adopt for which she even agreed to get married. How does this make any sense. Is a baby the only thing in one's life?? Maybe yes, but how is it that the other partner who had just started dating become ready to become a parent. The acting husband as well suddenly becomes emotional and looks forward to become the GOOD PAPA. What about his new partner who isn't ready. It's weird. If it were just the gay/lesbian relationship it's perfectly okay. But the baby concept totally ruined it.

(spoilers ahead)*** The movie was okay thanks to the lead actors and supporting cast. However, what's the logic behind a company especially in Bangalore hiring only bachelors!!! Regressive! Living in Bangalore, I have seen my single friends even the rich ones living in simple PGs or 2 BHKs on a share basis but this portrayal of luxurious apartment for trainees??? So lame. The movie I felt abruptly ended, what happened to Meenakshi's job? What happened to Sundar's job? He really wanted that job and he just gives up on it for his wife , SUDDEN REALISATION that she's more important?? As a movie it's a one time watch. Sanya is good. Abhimanyu is good, the rest of the cast is also nice. Nothing else.
