Anwar Rasheed and team put you with the character. You felt what Fahad, in the movie felt. You become motivated at start, you become high middle, you become culprit, you got hallucination post half of movie and finally you relieved from all at climax. If you experience the movie rather than merely watch it, you could feel the difference It is a story of biggest business in the world - Religion. Fahad Fazil performs as Viju Prasad and Pastor Joshua Carlton. As usual this was one of the exception performance in his career. Gutham Menon, Dileesh Pothan and Chemban Vinod did exceptionally well in their space. All the characters shown in the movie played a great part whether it is Saubin, Vinayakan, Srinda and Karikku Boyz. Nazriya got a different role in her career and she did it decently. Though there isn't any concept of Hero, heroin and villain in this movie, Nazriya was a bit higher and different in her role. Direction was good and cinematography was amazing. The frames and lighting went on with the mood of the cinema. Though songs did not have any role in the movie but the music and sounds had. The feel of the hall where healing prayers occur was authentic and we could feel the same. There are some flaws in screenplay as the moments did not connect but as I earlier mentioned what character experience is we experience. The story was not new but the making was. So we can consider this as half experimental.

Darbar Review The review is for two types of people 1. Rajini Fans 2. Rest of the universe For Fans An amazing treat. Thailaivars aura in the police dress will make you crazy. No comparison with Alex Pandian but the cop stood out with his own style. Stunts, Style, BGM are good. At some part of second half of the movie you could feel the slow script but carried some emotions. Ending action sequences could have more eloborate as i personally felt that i wanted to see more of his 'cop in action'. Fan rating 7.5/10 For the other part of universe. You can expect a visual treat and some slow running of movie. Can't think with logic part as the story is made for Rajnikanth hence some more 'like' factors are included. Nivedita Thomas did a decent job. It's not easy to show talent adjacent to a super star but the girl did well. Iam disappointed with Nayanthara's role. Audience where expecting alot from a lady super star especially she is with 'real' super star after a long time. But she didn't have much to do in this movie. Yogi Babu as usually entertained with his natural jokes and acting. Sunil Shetty's talent didn't utilised here. He came, killed some bunch of cops and died. Didn't cop up with the build up as the movie delivered from initially, about him. Overall, you will not be bored. 6.8/10
