It didnt focus on war and that's what makes the movie more about war than most other movies. The time spent worrying about loved ones, hoping your girl isnt moving on. The man who who spent his whole life preparing for the action and never fired his rifle, despite being on tour. The emotional stress of having a break down from everything that was happening. Great movie!! Makes you think and realize it's not all about the shots fired.
