We need more unqualified movie critics, people who review from the heart, rather than head knowledge. The same goes for other jobs too.... And that's beautifully touched on by this movie, someone uneducated, but extremely intelligent, and perfect for the role. I almost avoided this when I saw the professional scores, so a reminder, always look what the public think as well....! I found it a really enjoyable movie, funny, heart warming, inspiring. I've seen reviews saying it should have done deeper into the subject matters, but I appreciated the light hearted nature...... Critics, remember, occasionally people need a feel good movie, to well, feel good....And sometimes, just sometimes that can be life changing and powerful....!

I really didn't think I would, but I loved it. I saw it through my care work, with a client, and glad I went into it not having read any critic reviews......I was expecting a straightforward, people see band happy clappy movie, with plenty of singalong action. As well as some of that, I experienced a welcome, emotional gut punch. It did have some holes in the plot, to maximise the emotional effect, but it really resonated with me. Take That fandom not necessary..... best seen and experienced with the heart, rather than analysed with the head....but that can be said about most things I guess....

I was searching for some funny, easy viewing to keep me awake on a night shift....and came across this, so glad I found it...! It's really really enjoyable, heartwarming, and such feel good viewing! I've seen other shows that have made me laugh more, but everything about Kim's Convenience is so well done, within 24 hours it's gone to being one of my favourite shows!! From the opening scene, to the title music, it has a life about it, that makes you want to be a part of it! 감사합니다 :)
