While the original Spanish film, brilliant with beautiful strong characters and no mention of the Bible, why does Bollywood compel the need to use a certain religion for a secular Indian audience and give the bad guys Christian names? Why would a successful lawyer need to bring a mythology in this quest on a case? cut the sentiments, bollywood! we need beautiful thrillers like " The invisible guest" remade unspoilt and of the same quality. Though Bachan was good, the makers could have chosen a strong female lead to play his role as in the original. Guess we are still too patriarchal for that....

Loved the movie. Tata wins our hearts. You can see the old man charming the cartel guys and yes our Garcia ;). I guess all the other main actors just joined the crew for Clint's sake! Clint Eastwood is a genius no matter what age he is in. Also I don't think Tata's racist, just an old man living in the bygone glory days.

It's movies like this that spoil India's chance for an Oscar. Why can't they cast a woman lawyer and get the job done? Why do you need a hammer wielding Thor male pyscho lawyer? I never come across a company that fires a woman because her morphed image pops up. The definition for Tamil culture by other reviewers is so funny. Tamilians have always been in the fore front of technology, science and education. To still have a medival mindset on how a woman should act and behave is again reinforced by Rajnikanth ( he preaches only things o screen but doesn't pay taxes!) movies. It's such mind set that brought Nirbhaya to be raped. Miss movies like Kalki...

Wonder why it ever got bad critics. Bcos of the Russio American friendship? Thoroughly enjoyed the movie!!! A movie does have to cuss to be great like other sleazy flicks like Kingsmen. A clean family entertainer!!

Mindless - the film in one word. In real life the male killer is a vodoo and black magic guy....this was not explored. If he had been a Bible thumping guy, they would let loose on that. Travoltas story was so pathetic, lacks sense and why do they keep hitting the young detective? Just to cuss? Unneeded cuss words, scenes ( hitting a bug with the Bible...come on) please do a favour to yourself don't waste your time watching this.

Stalking a woman, the only way to stop a train is a half naked woman, self promotion, mindless plot, discrimination based on skin colour, this movie has it all. The cream is A north Indian hero and a north Indian heroine in a Tamil movie promoting Tamil culture. Sorry Mr. Rajni kanth, we Tamilians have too many CMs from other States than ours.

Oh wait, they forgot to film Loki brushing his teeth before he left for duty. Come on guys this film is so stretchy that make sure you don't have anything else to do before you watch. After all your patience the ending slaps you in the face. But yes it's bearable to watch as it has Jackman in it. 🥰

My bathroom slippers would have shown good expressions and would act better than all the characters put together in this movie. Never felt my time more wasted than this.

One of the best Tamil movies made so far. The director has taken a beautiful subject and entire movie is wonderful. Let one Tamilian step forward...
