Think Sekiro meets Dark Souls meets star Wars with a nearly perfect parkour system a la Prince of Persia. Great replayability given the mechanics of the difficulty system. The integration of force powers into not only the combat, but also the exploration was a breath of fresh air, and a definite step up from The Force Awakens.
Combat feels fluid and requires precision timing and skill to do it right. Even on the easiest difficulty some fights are still very punishing, but not so much as to take away from the fun of it. Exploration is a pure joy, and using the force to interact with the environment inside of the incredible unreal engine (thanks whatever gods there be it wasn't done in the frostbite engine) is incredibly fun in its own right.
A must play for both Star Wars fans and not.
