I first encountered Red Sky at Morning, the book, when I was in college, and it was one of those books that pull you in, wraps itself around your heart and you experience real truth about the human condition through fictional characters. What I like best about the film version is that it brings the book to life visually, and the casting for the roles is excellent and spot on. It is so well rendered because it is true to the book. I've not seen the movie available for rent or streaming, and I hope one day it will be made available. It's the kind of film you can watch over and over.
