What a colossal waste of time. The first season is so sweet and very much like the true Anne of green gables story. Shortly thereafter though it devolved to a bunch of nonsense with every deplorable leftist agenda behind it. Hate fire arms? They’ve got that. Love twisted feminism that does little to empower women and much to ensure their unhappiness? Oh that’s in every episode! Marriage is evil and a form of slavery for women, after all. Want homosexuality in your face while trying to enjoy a sweet coming of age story? Just turn this show on! Oh, and let us not forget the needless pandering about how certain races were mistreated in the past. No, not by you or anyone you know. That might merit remorse on your end. Rather, these heinous deeds were committed by people long dead who have no hold over you. But still!! You should feel guilty. After all, it was YOUR people who committed the crimes. Needless to stay, a romantic, coming of age story has tragically been ruined by triggered progressives. The two characters who are to fall in love hardly have any interaction because they are too busy arranging protest marches. Save yourself time and avoid this series.
