I really enjoyed 'Letters from Skye' and started trying to read it in bits and pieces during breaks at work. I did that for about 3/4 of the book but then I HAD to bring it home to finish it! I was SO hoping Sue and Davey would be reunited and Jessica didn't let me down!! I can't wait to read her other books. I've found that European authors works really touch my heart --whether in books or on TV. They are all very special tho I can't explain why. 'Letters' painted a very real picture of the war(s) to me. How horrible it must have been to live in fear constantly as well as crave even the most simple things to get you through the day or night. I could feel the emotions of love, loss, yearning, joy, impatience as well as patience from all of the characters. This is now a favorite book of mine and I hope Jessica reads this review. I'm heading now to the next 3.
