I wanted to leave after 3 minutes, but I told myself that I'd rather get it over with than ever have to wonder every day why MCU would make this film over so many titles with potential. I'm even starting to think Holly Wood is declining because of this weird trend of "VFX influenced" films without plot and dialogue fundamentals taken seriously. I mean, have you watched Dune, Hobbs & Shaw, F9, and this MCU waste of time and money? Gadamn! American cultural exports are declining... like watching parents start a big business and years later, watching kids destroy it all because they inherited it instead of working hard for it. I'm not even American and I'm worried because I fear Chinese propaganda films will outdo any US "VFX influenced" films in the future so, Holly Wood is indirectly teaching everyone to get used to Chinese Cinema already, which is cheap but expensive like plastic, propagated with visual effects that are meant to leave you feeling like China is the greatest country, or at least that China will be the superpower of the world in the future. I won't name them because you will watch them so I won't freely advertise them. My point here is, American producers are losing it... it's a petty African kids like me are financially broke. We have stories that'll make Timon & Pumbaa look like copycats, Lion King is a copy of Kimba the White Lion anyway... . So, maybe Disney ran out of stories a long time ago. No wonder why they're buying everybody from Pixar to National Geo. Look... Disney, Sony, Universal, or any studio that's losing the grip on stories, come to Africa and invest... Lol, because Eternals just made me write this crazy review and I'm not one for these things. I always give any film a chance until it completely disappoints, especially if it's from a studio I already know and trust. But never have I ever forced myself to watch and finish a film simply because of the production companies, cast, studios or distro brands, and companies involved. Respectfully, this film is a total waste of money! I know the movie already made the money back but as I write this but... at what cost? Losing the trust of loyal film buffs like myself and the rest of the world? Because we will finally enjoy more VFX than the story, which will change what we like in films to what China is already exporting!
Lol, if you've read up this point then I'm worried about you. But, I have much respect for you, lol. If you get my point, I'm glad. If not... I'm glad!
