Derek Dobbie – Google

I like it. Perhaps took a couple of episodes to get into its stride but after that it pick up and how. Cinematography was brilliant showcasing both the glamour of royalty and the seedy murky life of Victorian London. Great bunch of young actors gave it their all though perhaps Sherlock Homes portrayal was a bit hit and miss. Disappointed only 8 episodes for the first season but hopefully it gets pick up for a longer second season. 8/10.

Normally I watch each episode from start to finish but so far with this new incarnation I find myself getting bored, pausing it and browsing on my iPad for a while and then return to watch a bit more. With the exception of Rosa I have done this on all the other three episodes. I’m just now sure about Jodie as the Doctor. The new companions are doing a fine job though but as another reviewer stated Jodie’s Doctor just seems lost. Running about daft , dressed in one of the worst it has to be said , outfits yet designed for the Doctor. High boots and all...lol. Oh and don’t even mention the mess they have made of the Tardis or the blink and it’s over opening credits....oh well.....it can only get better...I hope.........?
