This show changed my life. Season 3 to be specific. The other seasons were nice but season 3 really stuck with me. The actors were phenomenal. Everything was phenomenal about the season honestly. Before I get into the story, I would love to thank everyone involved in creating this masterpiece. Everything was just perfect. The camera work, the directing, the scenes, the acting, etc. I loved every second of it. The only thing I dislike is that I should’ve watched this show sooner. It’s not popular in my country since I’m from Myanmar. I’ve heard about it from YouTube and stuff but I’m mad at myself that I didn’t watch this sooner until this month. Alright, let’s dive in deep to the story. Lucas and Elliot. Amazing characters. Nowadays especially, in my opinion, I think it’s hard to find someone who can be your soulmate, your partner who will stick with you through thick and thin. It’s all just flirting and flings and hooking up. People don’t really try to connect with each other. There is some hooking up in this show but that’s another story. But Lucas and Elliot...they get each other so much. Everything about them just fits. They’re very patient, loving and understanding. It was also love at first sight so that’s a bonus. I stopped believing those magical things exists, but after I saw them, I believed in those again. From how Lucas got the courage to approach him first, to Elliot showing him his secret place. Everything was magic about them. It’s not some cliche love story. I was surprised at how deep it gets. Plus, the way the show addresses mental illness, being different, falling in love, religion, the ups and downs of coming out and much more was simply beautiful. Amazing representation truly. I was an emotional wreck throughout the season, and I lost count of how many times I rewatched season three. The actors have amazing chemistry that just blows up the screen. There were tons of lessons to learn and I will forever be grateful to Lucas and Elliot for changing my life. They made me believe that there is magic in the world and that love as beautiful as them, still exists in the world. I couldn’t ask for anything more perfect. They portrayed everything so perfectly well done. Skam France season 3 will forever have a special place in my heart.
