The top two reviews aren’t indicative of the overall experience. I picked this game up on the Switch which I assume is the least impressive version graphically/horsepower wise, but have been pleased as it is a competent port. If you’re looking for the over emphasis on style/flashiness EA does with there sports game then you may be disappointed, but the core golf experience is solid. No you can’t play as the pros, but honestly to me it’s more fun trying to beat them with my own character in the tour mode. I have put about 20 hours into the game, and I’ve had it for less than a week, and this is coming from somebody that’s real life golf experience is limited to driving ranges and putt putt. My point in saying that is, I’m not somebody desperate for a golf sim, but the game peaked my interest so I bought it on a whim and have had a good time with it. I wish you could play a couch co op two player tour mode, but the local multiplayer options they have are fun, and have some 4 player options as well. There is a course builder mode I haven’t even tried yet, but even without having used that I would still buy this game again. I got it on sale at 30$, I’m not sure I would buy at a full 60$, but I am somebody on a tight budget.
