I became obsessed with Twilight as a teenager. Loved the first three books, but was very upset about breaking dawn, so much so that I didn't even watch the last movie, never cared enough. Midnight son has re-sparked my love of the series. I feel like I have reverted to my obsessed teenage state. In the last few weeks I re-read the entire series and binge watched all the movies. I have to say, I see the series differently now. I can clearly see what is problematic about it. For example I would not want Meyer to write a book from Renesmee's POV unless she ends up with someone who is not Jacob. However, I enjoy the books, they are entertaining, dramatic, funny and (I believe) well written. I am happy she chose to finally publish midnight sun during this difficult time. It takes my mind off of the issues with the world right now. Thanks Stephanie!
