Ok Ok

(Spoilers) Interesting concept, very original....or is it? I'm sorry to be THAT person and point out the obvious but it seems like a direct rip off of "A Quiet Place", with such similarities as a daughter with hearing problems, they are more experienced in a world of silence because they know sign language, and of course the hearing based monsters. It's a not so good "A Quiet Place". They use cheap methods to get the audience to feel feeling towards this movie, like killing a mother and her child (a really low move), killing off the dog, and then trying to make you feel something for a close friend who sacrificed his life to save the family. The sacrifice wasn't even good because I barley knew the character and they really didn't give me a reason to care, along with the dog, I wasn't sad at all, they did it in such a way that I didn't really care for it. The movie was fast paced and didn't try to make you care. The baby and the mother wasn't cool though, of course I'm going to express the feeling of sadness for them, and I think it's fine that they put a scene like that in there, but it feels like the only reason the added that scene in was because they didn't know how else to connect the audiences emotions to the movie. I just didn't enjoy it.
