This series definitely has the a grittier edge than the other Marvel mini-series. In Endgame you briefly saw Hawkeye when he decided to be both judge and jury during the snap, and this series fleshed out the consequences to him and those around him for doing that. I usually don’t like “Disney Endings” where the main character improbably walks away without consequences for what they have done to others-intentionally or not- but I find that I want Clint to find both safety for his family and at least some relief from the guilt of being the one that survived the Soul Stone and the person that became Ronin. I think that I want a happily ever after for Hawkeye.
