I use to absolutely love this game. S tier no question. The subscription thing wasn't a problem, it was free. But now, you have to actually pay $2 a month just to play it. And while that doesn't sound like a lot, you have to remember, the vast majority of this game is played by students who don't have that money. And it doesn't tell you the fee until you go through the process of getting a subscription, meaning you are already just wanting to play a game, and you don't think about it. It saddens me that a quick browser game has decided they need to make a cheep cash grab out of it, at the expense our wallets.
On top of that, the game often doesn't work with the paid version. It somehow got worse over the years. The graphics are terrible, often the maps don't load, and that is your one game of the day. It somehow runs worse than Fallout 3 does on laptop. That's honestly impressive, because that game crashed every 5 minutes. Again, it's sad to see a game that allowed me to flex my geography knowledge go down hill so fast.
