Beautiful cinematography, Extraordinary music and Great performances by actors but then spoilt by poor characterisation of SRK and illogical climax. Didn't expect such a film from Director Maniratnam who could direct wonderful movies like Roja and Bombay. Preity Zinta was under utilised(feel sad for her tbh). I was on a Mani Ratnam movies binge watching mode and so badly wanted to watch Dil se, luckily I could find it on Netflix but hey let me tell you, it's a heavy movie and just didn't make my day. If you're planning to watch it( keep your expectations low ). Having said that, songs are picturised amazingly well(from chaiya chaiya to Jiya Jale too good). Spoiler alert(read it at your own risk) I just wish SRK was more of a Indian National patriot than a lover boy i.e he should have preached nationalism dumped Manisha Koirala and married Preity Zinta. That would've been a pleasant watch instead of a stupid bomb blast. Simply stupid I say.
