I love My Hero Academia because even though it can be very cliche at times, they work with these cliches very well. It follows all the tropes of the shonen genre while still making something that feels fresh and original. I especially loved how they took inspiration from western comics. That is something that hasn't really been done before. I also love how they really focus on the story unlike some anime nowadays where it feels as if the entirety of the show was focused on the fights rather than the actual story.
