If there was something less than 1 star than I would use it. First episode isn't bad but after that the first episode it gets progressively worse. The main reason that I watched the show is non-existent after the first episode. From character development, plot, directing (shots filmed), music, even the editing choices. For me it is just all around bad. They do these long shots on the actors faces and it is so off putting. The acting is questionable to terrible. They focus so much on stories that do not enhance the shows viability or push the story forward. It has the feel of an independent movie with the budget of a mainstream but absolutely no pop and snap. The Expanse is a much better show, in the sci-fi genre, with a much lower budget. Apple needs to step up there game because this is just bad. No two ways about it. As the great Dave chappelle said, "I wish I had 4 hands so I could give this 4 thumbs down."
