I understand that the reviews are not good but personally, this movie touched my heart. It's a masterpiece and in a way relatable to times of today and having that connection with this generation and the past generation. Love stories are of many but memories will never leave you. It brings the idea of what we think of society and the world. Whether it's perfect or not and if being with a soulmate is natural or unnatural. A common thing that humans have is lust but that innocent love that still ignites within us challenges this world but time is what makes it a sad ending or a happy ending. This film is about memories that we cherish and whether living a life of success is worth it after sacrificing your love. Is it worth it to have the luxury after leaving that person who made you feel safe and valued during your time of vulnerability ie emotional distress. The past life had limited options and now we have many options to get with that soulmate but the relaxed life does make you take life for granted. People think we dont need that person anymore but trust me, the world is the same. It's just that you have left those who helped you go up in life. And now you have new people surrounding you. These new people only value your strengths. They haven't seen you when you were vulnerable. Love is natural and it brings safety and acceptance of each other's fallibility. But it's up to you to make yourself in the shoes of Raghu and Leena or in the shoes of Veer and Zoe. All I know is that I lost my love and I live alone. There's never been a day where I forgotten her and I focus on my career. Me and her are very far away but we still have contact. Everyone around us only expect us for success and think that we will find another person in life but to be honest, people like Raghu and Veer, I relate to their characters a lot. Anyways apart from my sad ending, this film deserves to get an Oscar. 👍 Great job to the cast and the team, directors etc.
