This movie was very exciting and intriguing. However, those of you who already read the books like me, it was nothing like it. My friends and I were angered by how off track it was to the book. We were very excited to see the hanging dead bodies, but there wasn’t any, sadly. Some things were way off for what I pictured, especially in the beginning. I thought that they took a bus to a house in the middle of the Scorch that had bunk beds and it wasn’t very labby, just like an old shack (But that might’ve just been my imagination). They didn’t really introduce Rat Man (Jason) he was just there. They didn’t introduce most of the people very well either, like they said their name once and that was it. Most of the key parts of the storyline were changed. What happened to group B? Where is Teresa’s big mood swings? Where did the monsters go that the groups had to fight off at the end of the book? I would just say to watch it anyways, but it might be 2 hours wasted of your time.
