Samantha Odell

I am a longtime reader of this author and this one really disappointed me. I stuck with it, skimming, just to see how it ended. The writing was in present tense which read, to me, rather unemotional and disconnected. the relationships were dry and concerning, and truthfully, Jake should have left Ursula...SOMETHING bigger should have happened to truly bond this other than 1 weekend every year not allowing yourself to be with your true love. I did like Mallory as a character, and the detail of the setting however that’s about it.
