Terrible, badly constructed and executed. Wasn't expecting much and still disappointed

This game is freaking great. Very well realized characters both dramatically(try not to fall in love with Kamala on some level I dare ya) and mechanically. The controls feel so smooth. I can't wait for more fliers(looking for vision and wasp) because the airborne stuff is the least awkward superhero flying ever(awkward superhero flight is a long stand pet peeve). Iron man does need an afterburner. I am busy and taking my time so have yet to finish the campaign but I would like to address the reviews that say "Well the combat is fun but is that all there is". What were you freaking looking for from a superhero game? It has a good story line, good combat, looks great, what is missing? I have played the side missions and if they keep generating then I am happy stepping into a favorite avengers shoes to play king of the hill with the forces of aim. Further I would be surprised if the future fails to produce at least more side missions in DLC perhaps against other factions like hydra or maggia. It is a solid game. It just launched. Developers have promised tons of DLC and we have every reason to believe them. The one point critics have made that I agree with is(like with most games like this) faster characters are more fun than slower stronger characters. That said ms marvels wind up for her double punchnis killing me. But that is the thing i feel like an avengers trainee who needs to get back in the gym to really learn a move, not a frustrated gamer. It lets you be a superhero, a few different ones actually. If that isn't your goal why are you looking at this game anyways

If I gave the review when I first got the game it would be much higher. The game is shiny and at first glance, first play through even, it is really fun. Thing is thanks to mayhem mode and a lack of doc characters there is nothing I want to do. The beauty of this series to me was a replayability that stays fun and entertaining. Three simply doesn't have that. If they fix mayhem AND LEAVE IT THAT WAY, maybe it will be fun to come back to but as is just isn't worth playing and makes it hard to think 4 will be worth picking up

This game is great. No there isn't a lot of story. You are a special ops guy doing missions in ww2. For a game like this what more do you need? That is my only "complaint". To me the ai seems pretty good. The stealth and sniping are great. Couldn't think of a game that executes it's promise better

If you like Minecraft I guess this game is for you. I wouldn't know neither seem my thing. Lack of story and direction just leave me asking what am I doing and why too much for me to have fun. Trying to hang in there to see the promise the game makes fulfilled but it is rough. Easily the most frustrating game start in my life. I am worried about wasting too much time trying to find the fun. How many hours can one find enjoyment in shooting rocks? Seeing as my answer is less than one I fear my future with this game is short. UPDATE spent way too much time with it before I realized it never gets fun, just time absorbing. I feel like the parents in the Minecraft episode of star craft. If you like endlessly building stuff just to build more stuff when you aren't shooting rocks and trees. Calling this a survival game is beyond misleading. Much more an exploration/crafting game
