It’s not terrible. It’s not bad. It’s definitely worth a watch but I would say that the ending did feel a bit unsatisfactory even though we had been waiting for that ending for the entire show. It felt like it could’ve gotten a season 2 and spread out the run time so everything didn’t get squashed into 10 episodes. It felt rushed near the end. The beginning is awesome and hooking. The middle is gripping but the end felt rushed and stereotypical.

This is a psychological horror that confuses you as part of the film. It is a really interesting premise and I really enjoyed it. -Theory- Spoilers ahead: Petula, Matilda and Daphne never left the house as it implied. The suicide scene was the round coming to an end. They’re reliving the same day over and over again without leaving the house. Stuck in a fantasy of trauma and what they could’ve been/wanted to be. Daphne had her life ruined in her eyes because she lost her ability to conceive. Petula wanted to become an actress but didn’t feel like she would make it. Matilda had no where else to go but be with Petula. They never left each other’s side. They came up with a story that’s all of them can enjoy. You’re basically inside of their head as they forget and replay this messes up game.

Well it is one of those films where all you can really say at the end is ‘Oh wow that’s a lot’ - A long gang-rape scene with different sexual acts. Before the scene, you're left completely unsettled as she is clearly being stalked. Then there’s Matthew who has learning difficulties and he was forced to rape Jennifer. Finally, the victim picks them all off one by one. I have to say, the movie is a satisfying watch. I enjoyed it and I felt a lot of justice within her actions. However, even though her actions are justified- I still feel like the actions that she is committing won’t help her, she will have reality set in and she will realise what she has done / what has been done to her. Basically, it’s a good movie if you like shock, being unsettled and gore but if you’re sensitive to any of the topics displayed in the movie, watch a breakdown over YouTube.
