Noisy Bird

Unbelievably naturalistic performance from Elsie Fisher. This film literally teleported me under the skin of a 14 year old girl, and I am a 40 year old man... I felt as uneasy, uncomfortable and awkward as I was during my teenage time. While I hated that for so many years, it was such a painful and shameful period of my life, as time goes by, I now feel I have a lot of empathy towards my past self, and towards teenagers in general. I am grateful to this film to make me realize how much I have evolved, from a denialist and traumatized mindset to a much more accepting one.
